Tanner Template Shortens Project Timeline

As a national group healthcare insurance company, United Health Networks writes contracts with healthcare providers and employers using its dedicated contract writing tool, Emptoris. UHN’s training department had voluminous training material, and wanted to consolidate it for the purpose of streamlining contract writer training.

Tanner analyzed UHN’s existing material and developed a template that consolidated all material into four types. We then reformatted and rewrote one of the manuals using the new template. Tanner helped UHN to move in the right direction.

UHN’s training director described the project: “Tanner developed a template for an online help system for us and converted one of our manuals. When we began using the template to convert the remaining library, we estimated it would take six months to finish. But the template was such a good tool for us that we finished the library conversion in two months. Tanner got us started on a fast track to completion. In addition, our customers couldn’t be happier.”
