Hunter Fan’s installation manuals accompany their ceiling fan products. Hunter knew that the manuals were thorough and exact, but customers' found the engineering language intimidating and hard to follow. In addition, the manuals did not follow a standard format making it difficult to keep the instructions up to date.

Hunter wanted to standardize their installation manuals and to give customers accurate, easy-to-understand instructions. Tanner reorganized and rewrote the installation information into discrete, easy-to-follow steps. In addition, Tanner created versions of the installation manual by grouping together types of fans with similar assembly and installation.

The result was a set of manuals that not only allowed Hunter Fan customers to use and enjoy their fans, but also allowed Hunter a new, efficient system for updating the installation instructions.
